Rock The Bay 2022: A Night for the Community

Rock The Bay was created to bring the community together around a shared and meaningful kaupapa: mental health and wellbeing. Delivered by trustees who were perhaps the "greenest" concert promoters of their generation, the event welcomed over 1,000 concert-goers for an unforgettable night by the bay.

The crowd was treated to three top-class Kiwi acts — Capital Theatre, Devilskin, and The Feelers — who delivered powerful performances in perfect conditions. A deeply moving moment came when Reid’s younger sister, Eden, spoke from the heart about the loss of Reido, reminding everyone why the event mattered far beyond the music.

With great music, stunning weather, and an incredible atmosphere, Rock The Bay was a fantastic night had by all—proving the power of live music to connect, heal, and uplift a community while supporting the future of our Wellbeing Program.
