R.E.I.D Wellbeing Program

Launched in 2025, the R.E.I.D Wellbeing Program is now available in 28 schools across Hawkes Bay, giving students the opportunity to check in on how they are feeling through an easy to use wellbeing app.  For just $6 per year, each child can have access to this tool helping them reflect on their emotions and seek support when needed.

The R.E.I.D framework

  • The Program is growing rapidly, and as we gather more support, we want to see it available in every school in Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • We can provide a safe space for young people to be seen and heard.

  • With real-time wellbeing insights to guide timely, meaningful action and regional impact.

  • A scalable and sustainable approach to child and youth wellbeing.

Bringing the R.E.I.D framework to life

To bring the REID Framework to life, schools will have access to a simple digital check-in tool designed to support student voice and early intervention.

Children and youth in schools can:

  • Ask for help in a safe, private, and accessible way

  • Reflect regularly on how they’re feeling

  • Know that someone is listening.

Schools will gain a clearer picture of student wellbeing, helping them respond early with the right support, at the right time.

Real-Time Support, Real-Time Data: Our Impact in Schools

The Breeze Interview

Hear directly from the Trust on The Breeze about how the Reid Wellbeing program is transforming youth mental health. Currently active in 28 schools, this digital tool provides students with a safe space to reach out to a trusted mentor the moment they need support. With 100% of every dollar raised going directly back into the program, your support helps us provide this vital early intervention for just $6 per student. We are driven to take this national—because mental health is more than a one-time conversation.

Every dollar made goes back into the funds. No one in the trust is paid—our time is our own because we are committed to this for the long haul.
